Cavite State University received a Plaque of Recognition from the Professional Regulation Commission – Board for Professional Teachers for being among the top-performing schools (Secondary Level) in the October 2022 Licensure Examination for Teachers.
The award was received by University President Hernando D. Robles together with CvSU-Cavite City Campus Administrator Cristina J. Baesa; CvSU-Imus Campus Administrator Marlon A. Mojica; and CvSU-Silang Campus Administrator Jocelyn L. Reyes during the Oathtaking Ceremonies of New Professional Teachers held at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City on 29 January 2023.
PRC Commissioner Erwin M. Enad, who served as the guest speaker, spoke about the values of education, struggles and challenges, teacher leadership, and ethics in the teaching practice.
It can be recalled that Silang, Imus, and Cavite City campuses placed 7th, 8th, and 9th,respectively on the said LE as announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on 16 December 2022.
Moreover, recognizing its support to the National Urban and Peri-Urban Agriculture Program (NUPAP), the Cavite State University’s Bee Program was also awarded by the Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Plant Industry (DA-BPI) with a Plaque of Appreciation on 19 January 2023.
The award was given to applaud the technical assistance provided by CvSU Bee Program in strengthening collaboration and inspiring the society to adopt bee culture and bee farming.
